About Characters
Characters in commissions must be either:
1. your own - you own the character or have the rights/permission to use it
2. free to use in the sense that the owner/artist has given permission to use them in such way. (Client provides proof)
3. (Completely) new, original and/or generic character - e.g. a fox girl with brown hair and an earring
Fetish/subject blacklist:
Following are blacklisted topics or fetishes. This means I am not comfortable making artworks including them and will refuse taking the subject. The blacklist will be updated at will.
- Acrotomophilia (amputee worship)
- Anorexia
- Child birthing
- Cubs in sexual/erotic situations or gore
- Diaper
- Drugs
- Erotic Gore
- Excessive Blood
- Excessive Gore
- Hyper
- Macro or micro (negotiable)
- Necrophilia
- Political statements, subjects or strong innuendos
- Racism
- Rape
- Scat
- Snuff
- Strong erotic violence
- Vomit
- Vore
- Watersports
Transfer of full rights
When full rights are transferred, the client therefore owns all economical rights to the artwork and characters within, respective to laws of Republic of Finland. This means that the client may use, edit or sell the artwork and characters within without any limitations or the artist's approval. The client may also transfer these rights to a third party. The artist reserves only the right to include the artwork in their portfolio. In addition, the artist retains the moral rights, which cannot be transferred under the applicable laws, to the artwork and characters within, which may limit the uses of the artwork in cases which could be considered offensive towards the artist, including but not limited to using the artwork or characters within in relation with illegal activities or extremist ideologies.
