Terms & Conditions (PLEASE READ)
---General Information---
- I reserve the right to decline any commission request.
- I reserve the right to adjust the price of any commission accordingly based on complexity.
- Commissioners are allowed up to three small revisions and/or one large revision for no extra charge. If this amount is exceeded, you will be charged an additional fee based on the initial commission price.
- I will not be responsible for any mistakes on the final version of any commission due to incorrect or missing information. It is the commissioner's responsibility to provide all relevant information when requesting a commission.
- All personal information will be kept private and confidential.
- I reserve full rights to the image and its distribution and use, unless otherwise specified.
---Image Rights and Usage---
- I reserve copyright of the commissioned work and the right to display any commissioned image(s) on my website, my portfolio, and social media.
- The commissioner must not claim my work as theirs.
- For an additional fee agreed upon of the commissioned image(s), they can be used for commercial use. If not discussed then the commissioned image(s) CANNOT be used for commercial or profit purposes, including prints and redistribution of the commissioned image(s).
- The commissioner may only use artwork that was created specifically for them, and are for the commissioner's personal use only. This includes wallpapers, cropping the image for avatars/icons, printing the image for personal display, etc.
- I refuse to create work for use as an NFT. Use of my work for NFTs, whether already paid for or not, is strictly forbidden and in violation of these terms & conditions.
- The commissioner is allowed to upload commissions I have created for them to an online gallery provided that the following link is always displayed with the commissioned work: http://twitter.com/katydiids
- If using work as avatar, please link to my twitter or handle @katydiids
---Payments---
- I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, with prior notification to the commissioner, due to poor communication, rude/inappropriate behavior, or any kind of abuse.
- I will not begin your commission until payment is sent. Once payment is received and final sketch is approved, there are NO REFUNDS.
- If the commissioner wishes to cancel a commission before the final sketch is complete, the refunded amount will be 50% of the initial price to compensate my time and effort working on your request. The commissioner will receive what has been completed up until the point of refund.
- Payment must be received in a timely manner, which can be discussed. Failure to provide payment means your commission will be cancelled.
