General
Please do not repost my art anywhere. Please either retweet, reblog, or share my art via links if you would like to share and support my work. I do not consent to my art being shared on Pinterest.
I have never nor will I ever give permission for my art to be minted as NFTs. No exceptions. I will take any and all action available to be to take down minted NFTs of my work.
Commissions
Commissions can be either processed through commiss.io or paid upfront via PayPal invoice. If neither commiss.io or PayPal work for you, an alternative can be discussed.
Payment is due within 10 days. Installments can be set up if paying all at once is an issue, but please keep in mind that I won't continue past the rough sketching stage until the commission is paid in full!
I will not accept gift cards, deviantART points, or any kind of unsolicited payment in exchange for a commission. All prices are in USD.
All commercial work will require a contract! My rates are for personal commissions ONLY.
-
Please be patient! I am a human with multiple health issues. I will provide an ETA if possible, and will always alert clients ahead of time if I believe a commission will take an extended amount of time! I will also always let clients know if things change.
-
Commissions are NON-REFUNDABLE. I'll communicate with you throughout the commission process and share my progress, and offer plenty of time and space to make necessary adjustments.
Guidelines and Restrictions
You MAY:
- Print out your commission for personal use!
(Hang it up in your home, slap it on a binder, have it made into a personal keychain or sticker, etc.)
- Use your commission for social media icons, banners, etc. on personal (non-commercial) accounts!
- Post your commission to your social media/online gallery (deviantART, Tumblr, Twitter, etc.) WITH credit and, if possible, a link back to my page(s)!
You MAY NOT:
- Sell/mint the artwork as NFT!
- Create prints, stickers, mugs, or other merchandise for commercial use!
(In other words: Don't profit from my work!)
- Claim that the artwork is your own/that you drew it, or else repost it without credit!
- Use the artwork for any commercial purpose!
I Will Do:
(OCs, DND characters, etc.)
(I won't do fanart for every piece of media—if you're unsure if I'd be open to drawing for a specific fandom, ask!)
(This must be discussed! Check my NSFW listing for more info.)
(This can be discussed—ask and I'll let you know where my boundaries are!)
I Will Not Do:
- Mecha or Complicated Machinery
Complexity:
I charge extra for complexity! Exactly how much is dependent on how complex the piece is. I charge extra for:
- Characters with Complex Armor/Outfits
- Characters with Complex Weapons (including Guns)
- Characters with Complex Tattoos or Fur Patterns
- Characters with Multiple Tails, Wings, Eyes, Limbs, etc.
- Characters who are Half-Animal/Hybrids
(i.e. Nagas, Mermaids, Centaurs, etc.)
Time Constraint
Typically I try to get commissions done in a timely manner, but there are times I do fall behind.
I'm happy to work within a deadline, but if the deadline falls within two weeks or less (or four weeks or less if there are people ahead of you in the queue) I will charge a crunch fee. Exactly how much is determined by the deadline and complexity.
Process
- First, I'll make a reference image using DAZ studio. In most cases, I will have to create a model for the characters I'm drawing, but this is accounted for in the commission rate and won't cost extra.
- Once a model is created, I'll check to make sure all looks good, and then I'll put together a reference scene in 3D space. This helps with composition, perspective, etc. Once a final scene has been agreed upon, the image will be rendered out and used as a reference point. Rendering can take anywhere between a few minutes to over an hour depending on scene complexity, but this is time I do not charge for (unless I'm on a tight schedule, in which case, it will be included in the crunch fee.)
- Then I'll get started on sketching in Clip Studio, using the 3D render as a reference! Once the sketch is completed and approved, I'll either deliver the final files if it's a sketch commission or continue to color if it's a flat color or render commission. If the client is paying in installments, I'll stop at the rough sketching stage and won't continue to the refined sketch until payment is complete.
(I don't use DAZ studio to make references for chibis, so if the commission is a chibi, the process starts here!)
- I will frequently check in as I further refine and color the piece, making changes as they're asked for! I do not impose penalties or charges for multiple adjustments or changes, but please keep the amount of requested adjustments reasonable!
- Once the piece is completed, I can send any file you need! Typically I send either a high-resolution PNG or JPG of the final piece, or both, but I can also provide other file formats, including a PSD or CLIP file with layers reserved.
